The Inevitable Endings

Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that don’t really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way. Ends are not bad and many ends aren’t really an ending; some things are never-ending.

Every ending has a new beginning.

Just when you think that your life has ended and there is no way, it turns out you’re wrong. Your life will begin again in the most beautiful way. We fail to recognise what lies ahead of us. We fail to grip the fact that “The End” doesn’t meet us when you give up, it meets us when you greet “death” as an old friend. However, we confuse “death” with “failure” and “disappointment”. But it isn’t! A wise man said, ” The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be the beginning.” We may think our life has ended but it hasn’t. It is your life and it is yours on how to end it. Choose to live, fight, achieve and die in comfortable, old bed. Or choose to give up and die without honour.

The endings hurt. Be it, an ending of a tv series or a movie or a novel. Or any relationship. Well, I’ve learned that goodbyes will always hurt, pictures will never replace being there, thanks is a feeble word, memories forget the hard times, words can never replace feelings, and heroes often go unsung.

They say, all good things must come to an end. But is it possible to say goodbye to the person you love? But yes, we all have to lose someone a day or the other. One day, we have to bid goodbye to our parents, relatives, friends and people we love and care about. It is inevitable. But I wouldn’t have wanted it to end any other way or with any other people. “Forever” is a thing we ask but we can never enjoy the luxury of it.

Sometimes, some people are never lucky enough to get “forever” with their loved ones. They know that one day, they have to part and there is no other way. No matter how much you try.

Overthinking about the different type of endings, we forget to live in the present. Having this phobia of having to lose people one day, we often forget to enjoy the present times. We sulk. Our faces droop long and the curve in our smiles turn opposite.

The Endings where-

  • We say “goodbye” to people we love.
  • We bid our old life a ‘bye’.
  • We lose our own self for forever.
  • We give up and fall.
  • We greet “death” as an old friend.
  • We know it is over.

These endings are inevitable and can’t be ever stopped. These are destined to come. But we cannot sulk for the fact that we’ll have to meet the ending some day. We can enjoy the present more to compensate for it.

All we can do is just carry on and enjoy what we have now. The Ending will come but all we have to believe is that the end is just the beginning.Every end leaves a possibility of starting out new. “The End” simply means that a part of your life is over but not your whole life. That a new world will start when something ends and we have to believe that not every “end” is a bad thing, it just means that there lies a whole new world of possibilities.

All you have to do is write our own ending and our own beginning.

Carry On!
